He has committed himself to be a life-long learner to be able to keep up with the latest techniques in dentistry and provide the best care possible for his patients.

He is proud that he is a Fellow in The Academy of General Dentistry. The AGD requires 500 hours of rigorous courses and a daylong qualifying examination to earn the degree. He is also an alumnus of the L. D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education. He attended six week-long continuums not only to be able to perform better dentistry, but also to build better relationships with his patients.

He is a member of the North Carolina Dental Society, the ADA, the AGD, and he has served on the board of the UNC Dental Alumni Association. On the local level, he belongs to the Gaston and Lincoln Dental Societies and the Foothills Dental Continuum. He is involved with over twice the required hours of continuing education each year.

He always looked forward to this point in his career! He is excited about dentistry and one of his goals is to be a good mentor for Brian as he continues his path in dentistry.
